About this web address: this site ends in .shop, but nothing here is for sale. There is no cart, no checkout and no online payment of any kind. It is an information page for a fence repair crew working in St. Johns County, Florida. You call, I come measure, and the invoice is settled at your fence after the work is finished.

The boards are usually fine. It's the posts that go.

Post resets, section rebuilds, dragging gates, storm damage and re-staining on residential wood, vinyl and aluminum fence across St. Johns County — one truck, posted prices, no salesman.

How a job actually runs

Four steps, and you never pay before the fourth one.

You call or send the form

Tell me the fence type, roughly how many feet are involved and whether a gate is part of it. Photos help more than descriptions.

I measure on site

I walk the line, push on every post, check where the sprinklers hit and write the number down. Estimates are free and there is no charge for showing up unless it's a storm dispatch.

Material is bought that morning

Posts and pickets come off the supply yard rack the day they go in the ground, so nothing sits cupping in the sun in a storage lot for a month first.

You pay when it's standing

Check or card, at the property, after you've looked at it. No deposit on repairs, no recurring charge, no financing arrangement of any kind.

About the company

ACTIVE FENCE LLC is a one-truck fence repair operation registered with the Florida Division of Corporations under document number L22000418018. The work is almost entirely second-owner work: St. Johns County built hard for a decade and most of those houses came with a builder-grade six-foot shadowbox included at closing. Those fences all went in inside the same short window, and they are all failing at grade on the same schedule now — sandy soil that drains fast and holds nothing, an irrigation head hitting the same 4x4 every morning, and wood that looks perfect from the street until a squall lays forty feet of it into the neighbor's hedge.

I am the person who quotes it, digs it, sets it and invoices it. There is no call center, no lead form selling your phone number to three other fence outfits, no franchise territory and no marketplace taking a cut. The company that pays for the advertising is the company that shows up with the auger.

Why the state filing shows an apartment

The registered address is 150 Mossy Pine Lane, Apt 5407, Saint Johns, FL 32259 — an apartment, not a fence yard, and it looks odd on paper until you know how the work is run. There is no showroom and no material lot because material is bought the morning of each job. The trailer, the two-man auger and the mixer live in a rented storage bay off County Road 210. Everything else fits in the truck. Visits are by appointment at your property, not at that address.

Work I turn down

Anything that requires a permit pulled — pool barrier enclosures, fence over six feet, commercial property line work — goes to a licensed contractor, and the homeowner signs with him directly rather than with me. I don't pull permits I'm not entitled to pull and I don't quote work I can't legally perform. Repairs, replacements and standard residential runs are the whole scope.

“Three posts on the back line were soft and one had already leaned into the pool cage screen. He reset all three in an afternoon and told me straight out that the screen enclosure itself wasn't his to touch. Fence has been square ever since.” — Danielle R., Julington Creek
“Our gate had been scraping the driveway for two summers. New hinges, a cable across the back and it swings with one finger now. $240, exactly what he said on the phone.” — Marcus T., Saint Augustine
“Storm took out about fifty feet along the retention pond. He came out the next morning, braced what was standing, and we did the rest in two visits so it didn't all hit at once on the bill.” — Kim & Alberto S., CR-210 corridor
